Issues

Of course now, there must be issues with GAMING being considered a sport. For example, ESPN is trying to introduve eSports and decided to cast Heroes of the Storm's Championship game on ESPN 3. People were not happy. Backlash on twitter, the radio and news. People threatening to boycott ESPN because they dared to view a video game on TV as a sport. Well while hammering down on ESPN for airing video games, no one reliazed that ESPN also airs Chess tournaments, Poker, and other small games. No one says anything about those little games, but Video games is a topic people are agaisnt greatly. ESPN also a few months ago wrote about one of the best players in the League scene known as Faker. Faker is his ingame name he uses to play League and comes from Korea ,the community considers him the Michael Jordan of League. Well as soon as ESPN tweeted about their new interview with Faker, people once again backlashed and made fun of Faker and the eSports community. People don't like this new idea of keyboard, mices, and controllers becoming the new era of sports. eSports is new, only has grown greatly in the past 5 years and will continue to grow. Despite the massavie backlash people are giving right now, eSports will be accepted when it hits the point of being at the same level of any other sport we have today.
